Ms. Taylor Lembrich
I am very excited to be beginning my eighth year as a sixth grade teacher at Riverview Middle School with you! I hope you are as ready to start this year as I am. The sixth grade team and I have worked very hard this summer to create some new, engaging, and fun units and activities for you and the other sixth graders. Before we jump into the 2017-2018 school year I thought I would tell you a little more about me.
This summer I was able to relax and enjoy spending time doing the things I like doing when I am not in school with my friends and family. I love being active so this summer was filled with going for runs, walks, hikes, golf, and LOTS of water sports. I traveled to California to visit my family that lives in the San Diego area where we lounged around on the beach and played in the Pacific Ocean. I have been continuing to learn how to fish but haven't had much success haha! Finally, I love reading; this summer was so nice to sit outside with a book with the sun shining above.
While I have taught in Plymouth for eight years I just moved to town and am very excited to experience what Plymouth has to offer first-hand. I grew up in Port Washington where I graduated from Port Washington High School and then attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I majored in sociology, psychology, and education. Part of my student teaching was done in the Cornwall region of England. It was an amazing experience I was so fortunate to have. Recently I completed my masters degree in education from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
I believe education is one of the most important foundations that a person can have. As a life-long learner myself I hope my students will be as excited to come to class and learn all they can and get as much out of the lessons as possible to create that solid foundation. It is my goal to make this year a fun and successful year for all the students in my class as well as the whole sixth grader. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help make this year a positive one for you and your child. I look forward to a great year!
